Hardware and Software: Don't let your system Crash

Updated: Feb 18, 2021

How does Software and Hardware related to health, wellness, and chiropractic?

Let's start with the structure of your spine. The bones in our spine are called vertebra and together make up the spinal column. Its main job is to protect the spinal cord running inside it. The spinal column is the hardware in which the software is expressed. They are the "nuts and bolts" of our bodies that allow us to stand up straight, walk, move, and bend. Our bones are the hardware. If we let it rot or rust or break, how do you think the software will run?

The nervous system is our software. Our nervous system holds 200 billion neurons sending countless messages to the brain and body every day. Composed of many spinal nerves, the brain, and the spinal cord located within the spine control and coordinate all other systems. The spinal cord is the control center of our bodies and is the source of all health, ease, or dis-ease. The nervous system controls our every move, every cell, and every organ. Without it, we are nothing.

You need healthy hardware in order for software to work! If you do not maintain the hardware, then the software will fail. This wear and tear is often seen as arthritis, disc herniations, sciatica, muscle strain and spasms. Your body will send you an error message in the form of pain, numbness, tingling, burning, or discomfort, but may also be in the form of headaches, allergies, digestive issues, and difficulty sleeping. Every single symptom is a result of some type of inflammation or irritation on the software and hardware of your body!

Don't let your systems crash! Chiropractic is here to help you maintain that hardware and protect the software! Specific chiropractic treatment allows your spine to adjust, adapt, and recover from the daily stress we call LIFE!
